Kline Joins Chesapeake Bowl

Ben Kline is one of the premier linebackers in the state of Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh Panther commitment just decided to accept and invitation to join many of his teammates in the Chesapeake Bowl on December 30th.

Ben Kline, 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker from Dallastown Area High School is yet another future Panther that will now be lining up on what is looking like a formidable North defense for the Chesapeake Bowl.

"I'm just really excited about it, especially with all of these guys that are going to Pittsburgh with me playing in the event," Kline said. "It's going to be good to get on the field with them for the first time and have some fun out there. As I said, we'll have a lot of fun meeting new kids, hanging out with guys I already know and then playing a competitive game and get it rolling with some of the best players in the region."

The Chesapeake Bowl will be played on December 30th and will put the North against the South. The North team is represented by players picked from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the South team is comprised of players from Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia and Virginia. The location of the game has not been decided yet, but should be announced shortly and all participants will go home with their own personalized jersey and a custom bowl ring which can be seen below in a lower resolution. The game will be open to the public.
