Posted Sep 9, 2010

Four-star defensive end Anthony Chickillo, from Alonso High in Tampa, just announced his college decision.

Anthony Chickillo is a Miami Hurricane, he just announced at a press conference at his school.

Chickillo, 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, was one of the state's most heavily recruited defensive players. He picked the Hurricanes in the end over Florida, Florida State, Alabama, and Tennessee.

The son of a former Miami Hurricane, Chickillo finished last season with 80 tackles and 12 sacks while playing in just six games due to injury.

Inside the classroom Chickillo claims a 4.2 GPA and a 24 ACT score. He becomes Miami's 7th commitment for the Class of 2012.
