Clemons to Chesapeake Bowl

Milford, Pa., product Brandon Clemons has been added to the Chesapeake Bowl to line up at defensive tackle next to Delvon Simmons and Marquise Wright and those three already make for a formidable force in the middle.

Brandon Clemons, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound athlete from Delaware Valley High School will be playing defensive tackle in the Chesapeake Bowl for the North team this December.

“It’s unbelievable and I’m just really excited about it,” Clemons stated. “I’m definitely fired up to go out and play on the defensive side of the ball. It’s definitely going to be a test for me to see where I need to be versus where I am, but it’s also going to be challenging and fun as well and I don’t back down from any challenges, so I’m looking forward to it.”

“Right now in recruiting I’m waiting until the end of my football season and I’ll take five officials,” Clemons explained. “I can tell you I think Pittsburgh and Boston College will definitely be two of my official visits, but I don’t know who else will be in there.”

The Chesapeake Bowl will be played on December 30th and will put the North against the South. The North team is represented by players picked from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the South team is comprised of players from Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia and Virginia. The location of the game has not been decided yet, but should be announced shortly and all participants will go home with their own personalized jersey and a custom bowl ring which can be seen below in a lower resolution. The game will be open to the public.
