Andrew Johnson gets off to a fast start

Ole Miss Commit Stats

**Chief Brown helped Winona to a 4-0 start by rushing for 158 yards on 12 carries. He also chipped in an interception and two pass defections on defense as they beat Grenada by a score of 24-21.

Senquez Golson

**CB Andrew Johnson helped Miami S' Ridge win their season opener against South Miami (41-13) by catching 8 passes for 119 yards. "He also had 2 rushes for 59 yards and a TD. He did not play on the defensive side of the ball where he is projected to play on the next level.

**S Gerrod Holliman also helped lead Miami S' Ridge to a victory by scoring twice on offense and returning an interception 89 yards for another TD.

**Newport (Ark) took a loss to Baldknob 40-21 but their star tailback/defensive back (Artez Brown) had 10 tackles and 85 rushing yards in the game.

**Russellville (Ark) also took it on the chin Friday to Fayetteville (42-6) but Ole Miss commit Mitch Hall reported "several" pancakes while manning the right tackle position.

**Seminole (FL) linebacker Serderius Bryant had 17 tackles and an interception return for a 20 yard TD in their 23-0 win over Winter Springs (FL).

**CB Senquez Golson carried the ball 13 times for close to 200 yards which included a 80 yard TD run and another rushing TD in Pascagoula 36-21 loss to Moss Point Friday

**QB Maikhail Miller had a rushing TD and over 200 yards of offense in Itawamba AHS' 28-6 defeat to Lafayette County.

**Gadsden (AL) defeated Oxford (AL) 21-12 this past Friday in their first Regional game. Gadsden, which has five players committed to BCS programs. Ole Miss commit T.J. Worthy catch 3 passes for 48 yards and also had a 25-yard punt return.

**4-Star Raleigh receiver, Donte Moncrief, hurt his leg (deep thigh bruise) in the first half and missed the remainder of the game. He finished the half with two catches for 30 yards in Raleigh's 19-7 defeat to Taylorsville.

**Raleigh defensive tackle Woodrow Hamilton had 7 tackles (2 for losses) in Raleigh's defeat. He also hauled in a pass for 12 yard pass.

**Taylorsville's LB Marcus Mayers had 9 tackles and 2 sacks in their 17-7 win over Raleigh.

**N' West CC tight end, Jamal Mosley, caught two passes for 38 yards in their 41-26 victory over East Central CC Thursday.

**Cody Prewitt rushed for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns on only six rushing attempts in the Saints (4-0) win over the Generals (2-2). Prewitt scored on runs of 53,56, and 39 yards and a 7- yard interception return. He had two total picks on the game. Cody accounted for 314 total yards, completing 6 of 9 passes for 146 yds..

**Bob Jones (AL) defeated Florence (AL) 45-6 Friday. Ole Miss commit, WR Collins Moore, had two catches for around a 100 yards and a punt return of over 50 yards to Florence's five yard line.

**OL Aaron Morris and OL Justin Bell had a bye-week for Jackson Callaway.

Senior Prospect Stats

Cameron Clear

**Tupelo could be the surprise team of Class 6A as they are off to a 3-0 start as they defeated Louisville 17-0 Friday. P.J. Jones contributed with another stellar performance as he chipped in 9 tackles, 2 sacks, and 5 QB pressures.

**One of Ole Miss' top juco defensive tackles, Maurice Couch, had 8 tackles and 1 sack against Coffeyville this past weekend. The Garden City CC product had 8 tackles with 4 coming from behind the line of scrimmage the week before.

**Lumberton's QB/CB Darrius Holder had 2 passing and 1 rushing TD in their 51-33 win over Pass Christian. He did not play on the defensive side of the ball during the game. CB is where he is projected to play on the next level.

**Lithonia (GA) defeated Millergrove (GA) in triple overtime by the score of 29-21. LB Cedric Cooper had 14 tackles, 4 for loss, and 1 sack during the contest.

**DT Christian Ringo had a blocked field goal and 7 tackles and a fumble recovery in Forest Hill's 40-28 win over Jackson Lanier.

**Juco DT John Jenkins helped MS Gulf Coast CC crush MS Delta CC 52-0 this past Thursday. The 6' 4", 330-pound nose guard had 4 tackles and a defensive touchdown for the Bulldogs.

**Memphis Central (TN) defeated Bolton (TN) 35-13 Friday. Their star two-way standout, Cameron Clear, finished the night with one catch for 12 yards, 3 carries for 32 yards and a TD and a 2-point conversion. He also chipped in 10 total tackles on the defensive side of the ball.

**4-Star WR Tobias Singleton had 4 TD's and 160 total yards in Madison Central's 42-7 win over Canton.

**4-Star WR Nickolas Brassell had 5 catches for 95 yards and 2 TD's Friday. His highlights came from a 65-yard screen for a TD and a 40-yard reverse for a TD in South Panola's 39-0 win over Clarksdale. On defense, he had a pick and brought it back to the Wildcat's 5-yard line.

**Ath Kendrick Market had a 65-yard pick 6 and 12 tackles for South Panola.

**RB Qyen Griffin carried the ball 20 times for 190 yards and a TD for the Tigers.

Class of 2012

Quay Evans

**(WR/DB) Adarrius Perkins helped Forrest County defeat St. Martin 41-7 by returning an interception for a 76- yard TD. He also chipped in 4 solo tackles.

*DT Quay Evans helped Morton to a 26-12 win over Newton Friday. The 6' 3", 300-pounder had 10 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 tackles for losses in the game.

CB Corderyl Weathersby had an interception and 7 tackles in Pascagoula's 36-21 defeat to Moss Point.

S Deon Bush defeated Belen Jesuit (FL) 35-16 and totaled 7 tackles in the game.

**RB Kailo Moore rushed for 4 TD's and 158 yards in West Boliver's 35-20 win over Cleveland East Side.
