James Vaughters received some good news over the weekend about his future.

"Coach Jim Harbaugh talked to my dad on Friday night to let us know that I was admitted to Stanford," said James Vaughters. "As you know, Stanford is very difficult to get in to, even for scholar-athletes, so it made it extra special to find out I was admitted. Despite the Coaching staff's assurances, I was still a little worried, since it was Stanford."

"It made my Friday night an overall great night, as my team, Tucker (GA) went 4-0 for the year with a 68-0 win over Chamblee High School. I had two interceptions and returned one of them for a touchdown to help start the blowout."

"Go Cardinal!"

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
