Chesapeake Bowl Selection: Zack Eure
Zack Eure (6-1/205, Salisbury, MD, Parkside) is a tackling machine. He has great football instincts and always seems to be around the ball. He moves well and will blow up running plays in the hole. He couldn't hide his excitement about being selected to the Chesapeake Bowl. "Wow it is really a great honor," said Eure. "I am so happy to be invited and I will do my best the whole time. I can't wait to show what I can do. My area doesn't always get a lot of credit or exposure so I am really going to practice and play hard and represent my area well." Eure had over 140 tackles last year. He has been receiving interest from several schools including Rutgers, Syracuse, Maryland, Villanova, Brown and Towson. The Chesapeake Bowl will pit the North Team vs. the South Team. The North Team is represented by players selected from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the South Team is comprised of players from Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia. The site of the game will be announced shortly. Each player will receive their own personalized game jersey and a custom bowl ring. The game will be open to the public.
