All-state RB Demond Brown will look to provide a spark in the rushing attack as he accepted his invitation and has the exclusive.

Highly regarded RB Demond Brown (5-9/200, Millersville, MD, Old Mill) accepted his invitation to play for the South in the inaugural Chesapeake Bowl All-Star Game to be played on December 30th. Brown has quite a high school resume but actually earned his spot at the Chesapeake Bowl Evaluation and Training Camp. He talks about his appreciation for his selection to the game.

"I'm honored and very thankful to be selected," said Brown. "I am grateful I was invited to tryout and that the coaches thought enough of my ability to pick me for the game. There were a lot of good players trying out for the game. Playing with all the great players in the game will prepare me for the next level. It will be like a college game with all those future college players on both teams."

Brown currently holds an offer from Bucknell and is receiving serious interest from several other schools. He has received All-State recognition the past two seasons while rushing for over 1,000 yards in each. Already this season he has 528 yards and 8 touchdowns. His team is 3-1.

The Chesapeake Bowl will pit the North Team vs. the South Team. The North Team is represented by players selected from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the South Team is comprised of players from Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia. The site of the game will be announced shortly. Each player will receive their own personalized game jersey and a custom bowl ring. The game will be open to the public. Recommended Stories
