Four-star OL Jamar Lewter
(6-7/270, Washington, D.C., Ballou) is a towering athlete that was athletic enough to play tight end just last season. He will take his athleticism and huge potential to the South Team for the inaugural Chesapeake Bowl All-Star Game to be played on December 30th. Lewter talks about his upcoming opportunity and the chance to play with the other players.
"It feels good to be selected," said Lewter. "To be in an all-star game this big is really great. It will be a good experience meeting all the different players from other states and committed to different colleges. It should be a good game and I will do my best to help the South Team win."
Lewter committed to North Carolina back in July. He chose the Tar Heels over multiple offers from around the country including Auburn, Clemson, Illinois, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and USC."
The Chesapeake Bowl will pit the North Team vs. the South Team. The North Team is represented by players selected from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the South Team is comprised of players from Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia. The site of the game will be announced shortly. Each player will receive their own personalized game jersey and a custom bowl ring. The game will be open to the public.
