Florida RB: Recruiting is done
Marlin Lane talked about how his senior season's been going, after returning to the field two weeks ago for the first time since ACL surgery last November. "So far this is my second game. They have been holding me out for the first half, then letting me in, getting me back used to it." Lane, 6-feet and 205 pounds, committed to Clemson last year and remains solid to the Tigers. "I am still solid," he said. "I've been going up there quite a bit." Lane said he speaks to several of the Clemson coaches on a regular basis. "I talk basically all of them, but mostly to Coach Rumph. He is a cool guy, I mean I can't wait to get up there so I can really get to know him and hang out with him." A few weeks ago Lane told us that he was planning on taking a few other official visits. Is that still the case? "I am not sure, but I am taking one to Clemson sometime in January. I don't know about the others. I'm not really considering any other schools anymore." Lane, who claims a 3.0 GA, says he's one point short of what he needs on the ACT and plans to re-take it.
