One of the players we saw this past weekend in our trip to Northern California was Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd linebacker Hardy Nickerson, a prospect in the 2012 class.

Nickerson is getting interest from schools like Michigan, Utah and USC.

His father is former NFL linebacker Hardy Nickerson, who is now the coach at Bishop O'Dowd.

Nickerson talked to us following O'Dowd's 62-0 rout of Hayward (Calif.) Tennyson.
