Trey Gissett understands that people want to see him in action and he has no problem making that…
Two offers and counting
"I got an offer from UAB yesterday," Trey Gissett stated. "And today I got an offer from Middle Tennessee. Both schools called me to tell me I had a scholarship offer from them. Both of these schools are now my top two because they're the schools who've offered scholarships. It's as simple as that. The remaining schools on my list are Florida, Mississippi State, and Purdue. "I was at Florida's game last weekend. They like me, and they've told me I can play for them. Mississippi State and Purdue have both told me exactly the same thing. I think I'll get an offer from at least one of these three, if not all three." The Middle Georgia prospect is in no hurry to make any decisions. "I'm not in a big rush to decide on anything right now," he commented. "I'm gonna visit the schools, and see which school fits me. I wouldn't mind playing for a big time program, so I'm gonna keep my options open and see what happens." Houston County plays in a very tough region, and they're currently sitting at 4-2 on the season. Gissett has racked up some big numbers in their first six games. "I have a lot of tackles this year," he said. "I have 50 tackles on the season, three tackles for a loss. I've forced two fumbles. I have one fumble recovery. I have two sacks." Trey Gissett will schedule his official visits at some point this month.
