Scout.com Evaluation: Cantu is one of the better quarterbacks in the San
Gabriel Valley, and has made major strides from his junior year, and even from
the spring, when he caught our eye at several camps.
He's got good snap on his throws and does a good job in the shorter passing
game, as well as the intermediate routes, and his arm continues to get stronger
from last year, in the deeper passes.
Cantu is still a little on the slight side, so he could serve to add some more
weight, and his decently mobile. He's yet to receive an offer, but a
strong conclusion to his senior season will help.
