Ole Miss Commits
**As the article pointed out up top, LB Serderius Bryant had a monster
game in front of Coach Terry Price when he chipped in 25 tackles and 99 rushing
yards and 3 TD’s in their 20-14 victory over Lake Mary Friday.

Serderius told me on the phone Sunday night that Coach Price told him that
in his 25 years of scouting players it was the single best performance he has
ever watched.
**After being named Mississippi’s Player of the Week last week, QB Maikhail Miller and Itawamba AHS were defeated by undefeated New Albany 48-13. Miller
did have a 34-yard TD run and had over 250 yards of offense.

**Coach Tyrone Nix was in attendance to watch Taylorsville’s first half
and Sylva Bay’s second half Friday. Taylorsville and Marcus Mayers defeated
Bay Springs 39-7. Marcus had 12 tackles, 3 loss, and 1.5 sacks.
**Sylva Bay defeated Wayne Aca 48-7 and once again Cody Prewitt was the
main reason why. All he did was rush for 259 yards on 23 carries and had 3 rushing
TD's and a 60 yard kickoff return for a TD. Cody has over 1, 600 rushing yards
and 29 TD’s through seven games. On defense, he has 7 interceptions and 4 defensive
touchdowns.
**Coach Chris Vaughn was in attendance for Miami Southridege’s 13-0 win
over Homestead Thursday. CB/WR Andrew Johnson was the star of the game
as he had a 70-yard punt return for a TD and S/WR Gerrod Holliman contributed
10 tackles and 1 interception.
**Russellville (Ark) continued its losing ways this season as they lost to Bryant
38-8. OL Mitch Hall continues to be about the lone bright spot on the
team as he did not allow a sack and had “several” knockdowns.
**Winona and RB/S Chief Brown bounced back from a tough loss to Aberdeen
last Friday with a 56-31 win over Mooreville. Chief rushed for 146 yards and
3 TD’s on 11 carries. Defensively, he had 2 pass deflections and 1 interception.
**CB/Slot Senquez Golson shined in Pascagoula’s 45-21 loss to George
County as he had 4 catches for 113 yards, 2 rushes for 33 yards and 3 total
TD’s for Pascagoula.
Golson plans to be at the Ole Miss/Auburn game.
**Jackson Callaway continued its winning ways as they defeated Jackson Lanier
48-7 in front of Coach Derrick Nix.
OL Justin Bell had 5 pancake blocks and OL Aaron Morris had 6
pancakes. All told, Callaway rushed for over 300 yards behind the Ole Miss commit
duo.
**WR Donte Moncrief helped Raleigh get back on track as they won 20-14
Friday night. Donte had 3 catches for 74 yards and 2 TD’s. Defensively he had
13 tackles, 2 interceptions and rushed for a 73 yard TD on a fake punt.
**DT Woodrow Hamilton sat out the Raleigh game because of a high ankle
sprain.
*DE Kameron Wood had 9 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 1 sack in John Carrol’s
(AL) win Friday.
**WR T.J. Worthy had 7 catches for 65 yards and a 70 yard punt return
for a TD in Gadsden’s 33-30 tough loss to Austin (AL).
**CB/RB Artez Brown helped Newport (Ark) win their third consecutive
game Friday as they defeated Stuttgart (ark) 19-14 . Artez chipped in 57 rushing
yards, 3 tackles, 1 knockdown pass, and 1 interception for a 33-yard TD.
Senior Prospects
**South Panola defeated Columbus 44-0 Friday in front of Coaches Nutt
and Rader in the first half. WR Snoop Brassell caught TD passes for 40
and 22 yards and RB Qyen Griffin took the opening kickoff 81-yards in
for a TD. Qyen had 117 rushing yards on 11 carries for the night.
DT Issac Gross had 1.5 sacks in the game and Kendrick Market
had 6 tackles, 1 beautiful interception (right in front of Coach Nutt) and two
batted down passes in the game.
**WR Terrell Pinson scored on TD catches from 27, 33, and 56 yards in
Tupelo’s 48-34 win over Southaven.
**DL P.J. Jones recorded a sack, 9 tackles, and 3 tackles from behind
the line of scrimmage.
**Dt Christian Ringo had 18 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble in Forest
Hill’s 56-6 loss to West Jones.
**Atlantic (FL) made life miserable for Park Vista and RB Tre Mason as
they were defeated 26-7 and Mason was held to a career low 60 yards on 23 carries.
He now has 820 rushing yards and 10 TD’s through six games of action.
**Recent MSU commit RB Joe Price had a career best 251-rushing yards
and 5 TD's in front of Coaches Nutt and Nix in Madison Central's49-7 win over
Warren Central.
**TE Cameron Clear, RB Andrew Buie, CB Ahmad Christian, and DT
Maurice Couch had a bye this past weekend.
**CB/Ath Jermaine Whitehead threw a 15-yard TD, rushed for a 75-yard
TD, and returned an interception 45 yards for another TD in Amanda Elzy's 38-28
win over McClain.
Junior Prospects
**RB Demarkus Dennis continues to be on fire for Lafayette County as
he rushed for 4 more TD’s in Lafayette County’s 54-7 win over Senatobia. All
told, Dennis rushed for 158 yards which brings his last three game total to
just over 600 yards and 11 TD’s.

**QB Jeremy Liggins had a 12-yard TD run and totaled over 250 yards
of offense for Lafayette County.
**DT Quay Evans had 9 tackles and 1 sack in Morton’s 25-0 win over Carthage.
**S Deon Bush had 3 tackles and an interception for a 77-yard TD in Coral
Gables (FL) 37-0 victory.
**CB Cordaryl Weathersby had 3 pass deflections and 4 tackles in Pascagoula’s
45-21 loss to George County.
**QB Anthony Alford was 7-8 for 216-passing yards and 3 TD's in Petal's
34-14 win over Harrison Central
Sophomore Prospects
**RB Ashton Shumpert literally paved the way in Tupelo’s 48-34 over
previously unbeaten Southaven. Ashton, who use to be Maikhail Miller’s
running back at Itawamba AHS before transferring to Tupelo this summer, rushed
for 282 yards.

**S Tony Conner had 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 rushes for 53 yards in South
Panola’s win over Columbus.
