Junior To Watch: Arizona WR Rudy Fleming

WR Rudy Fleming

There's not many players out West who had a better junior season than Tempe (Ariz.) McClintock wide receiver Rudy Fleming. The talented pass catcher put up huge numbers and will be watched closely this spring.

Fleming at 5-9, 170 pounds doesn't have great size or breathtaking speed. All he does is make plays and lots of them. As a junior, Fleminc earned 1st All-Region and All-State honors after catching 79 balls for 1,392 yards and 12 touchdowns. He's a polished receiver with good hands and a strong work ethic.

Recruiting attention has come in from most of the Pac 10 plus Michigan, Utah State and Nevada.

"My cousin is Randy Hill (ASU RB) so I like the Sun Devils a lot right now," Fleming said. "I also like Michigan, Florida State, Nevada and Utah State. I'm looking for a good solid football program with good academics and a place where I'm comfortable at."

Fleming is carrying a 2.5 GPA and he'll attend the SoCal Nike Camp in April.
