Arkansas Gets 3rd Commitment Out of AZ

Breaking News from Scout.com: Four-star safety Kelvin Fisher makes verbal commitment to Arkansas

Arkansas already has commitments from Arizona Western corner Isiah Wiley and Scottsdale Saguaro TE Brock Haman. Scout.com has confirmed that four-star safety Kelvin Fisher has become the third player from the Grand Canyon State to make a commitment to the SEC school.

Fisher says via text message, "I committed to Arkansas yesterday."

Fisher (5-11 180) had 12 scholarship offers but was believed to be down to Oregon, Arizona State, Washington and of course Arkansas.

He stars on both sides of the ball for Higley High rushing for 973 yards and 16 TDs as well as recording 43 tackles and 2 INTs on defense.

Arkansas is getting a versatile player that could play running back, safety or even be a big corner. This versatility made him one of the West Coast's hottest prospects.
