Aaron Green, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back from James Madison High in San Antonio, Texas got offers from coast-to-coast before he made the decision to sign with Nebraska.
“Nebraska,” exclaimed Green when he picked his school. “I picked it because I knew it would make me grow spiritually. I knew it would make me a better man.”
Green will join his brother – Andrew Green – who is already on the roster at Nebraska.
So far in 2010 Green has rushed for 1,307 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Scout.com Eval: Green is a complete back. With the exception of his size, Green is everything you look for in an elite back. He has excellent acceleration, maintains good top end speed, has the ability to shift gears and change direction at the drop of a dime. And because of his low center of gravity he has phenomenal balance. He runs hard in between the tackles, but he can beat even the quickest defenders to the edge.
