First Offer For Dallas Area Player

Garland ISD is a big district with a lot of schools, they are literally a district unto their own. One of the newest schools is Sachse High School. Scout.com talked to Red Behrens at the school for the latest.

Sachse High School is part of the big Garland ISD district. They are also one of the newest schools in the Dallas area. Still they have had some success in producing college talent.

In the 2011 class one player has committed and another has a 1-AA offer.

"We have had two offered so far. Kris Weeks is an SMU commit, while Drew Douglas has been offered by Southern Illinois University", said Coach Red Behrens to Scout.com

Weeks plays guard for the school while Douglas is a defensive end for the high school. No other players in the senior class are likely to be D1 but the 2012 class has some players to watch.

Stay with Scout.com for more on these players and others in Texas.
