Brent Walker, the 6-foot-5, 300-pound, three-star offensive guard Norco High School in California, plans to make his commitment before the end of November. He has narrowed his choices down to Arizona State and UCLA. "They both have great coaches and both aren't too far away," Walker said about the Sun Devils and Bruins. "I'm gonna try to do it before the month is up," he said. "It's dead even right now. It's gonna be a hard choice." Walker attended the Sun Devils game against USC (at the Coliseum this past weekend). "Man, it was exciting," he said about the game. "I had a feeling it would be close and I was hoping ASU would pull it off and win. "But they're still coming up," he said about Arizona State. "They have a lot of weapons and I think they'll be getting better. They're very multi-dimensional." Walker also attended two of UCLA's game earlier this season as well. "I like the pistol offense they're running," he said about the Bruins. "I think they zone blocking they do would fit me pretty well. "I also love how they play in the Rose Bowl," he said. "I can't believe that's their stadium. It's amazing. I also have a close relationship with their coaches." Walker's former teammate is Bruins' freshman linebacker Jarad Koster. "But I know a lot of guys at Arizona State too," he added. He says he also has offers from Colorado State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Wyoming and New Mexico State. He does not have any official visits set yet and may not take any before making a commitment. "I need to register with the Clearinghouse," he said. "I haven't done that yet." Walker, ranked as the No. 43 offensive guard in the country by Scout.com, reports a 2.6 core GPA and took the ACT on Oct. 23.
