Breaking Down: TE Jamal Mosley

Breaking Down: TE Jamal Mosley

The 6' 4", 255-pound reverse transfer out of Oklahoma State made an immediate impact on the Ranger's squad this fall as he caught 32 passes for 309 yards and 3 TD's. Now he is taking his talents to the University of Mississippi. To see what the Rebels are getting, watch below.

Name: Jamal Mosley
School:
N' West CC
Position:
TE
Size:
6' 4", 255-pounds
Class:
Juco Sophomore
Recruitment:
Committed to Ole Miss
Scout.com Ranking: 3-Star

Scout.com evaluation: Jamal Mosley actually plays out of the spread offense for N'West CC. He played in basically the same offense at Oklahoma State his freshman season where he filled in for Brandon Pettigrew.

Do not let the spread offense fool you though, Jamal is no finesse tight end as he will put a hat on you and not let go. Jamal moves very well for a player that weighs 255-pounds almost plays like a big receiver at times in N' West CC's offense as they line him up wide and let him go.

Mosley has good hands, footwork, and is very physical at the point of attack. He does need to work on his leverage for the next level but that can be corrected.
