Those six comprise the schools that Barr is focusing on, though he said four schools, which he's keeping between him and his family, primarily make up that group.
This past weekend, he took his third official visit, to Oregon.
"I really enjoyed it and had a great time," said Barr. "From meeting with all of the players, and talking to the players, everyone lives and breathes Oregon football there. The intensity of the fans and the fan base was incredible. I talked to everyone quite frequently and especially got to talk with Coach Chip Kelly. Coach (Don) Pellum is the main one recruiting me. Just hanging with the other players was great. My family was up there with me and we got to check out everything, like the facilities. I had been there for an unofficial visit, but I got to see a lot more this time.
"I will definitely visit Cal and Miami, but with the playoffs starting next week. it will likely be after the season," said Barr. "I don't think I'll take a trip to UCLA officially because it's close by."
Barr said he didn't have a leader, but has four schools standing out.
"I'm not really wanting to say who those four are, it's between myself and my family, but the four are from those six schools," said Barr.
Barr was selected to the UnderArmour All-America Game, and said he'd like to have a decision made before then.
"Honestly, I would like to have my decision made, right here and right now," said Barr. "It's been overwhelming. But I'm still wanting to see all of my options before I decide."
Lakewood and Barr take on Long Beach Wilson in their regular season finale.
