Florida QB: They're welcoming
Sam Richardson talked about his senior season. "We went 10 and 0. We have Lake Brantley the first round of the playoffs. I am at 2200 yards and 29 touchdowns." Richardson, 6-2 and 180, talked about the latest with recruiting since he's committed to Iowa State. "The same colleges have been calling me -- Iowa State of course, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Marshall and a couple others. I am not interested in any of those. Pretty much Iowa State right now." Richardson talked about a recent visit he took to ISU. "I went on an official to Iowa State the second week of the college school year. I loved it, it was real nice up there. I am pretty much 100 percent Iowa State right now. They are doing well. The loss today was pretty upsetting. They have a shot against Missouri to be bowl eligible. It was real welcoming to me. It is somewhere I have a good shot to play, so. The coaches and guys are great. I feel like it is a good fit." The standout QB, who claims a 3.3 GPA and an 1150 SAT score, talked about a connection he has to ISU. "I have talked to the starting center next year on my official. I talked to Seantrel Johnson who played for Deland next year. They are excited about having another Orlando kid up there."
