Scout.com live evaluation: We were able to watch Sam face Grenada and what we noticed was a player playing tight end for the first season and looking rather comfortable doing it. He is a great blocker and has really good hands. Cox is a tough runner with the ball in his hands and is physical in nature

The only question mark about playing tight end on the next level is that he is not your protypical height that most tight ends posses. If that becomes a problem he has plenty of experience playing on the defensive line as that was the position he played up until his senior season.

Scout.com was in attendance for Cox's game against Grenada.
