hauled in 24 receptions for 426 yards and six touchdowns for George Washington High School this season and was one of the most dangerous wide receivers in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Because of this the 5-foot-10, 160-pound Temple commitment was invited to the Chesapeake Bowl this week and has accepted to play, giving the team a bevy of speed at the position.
The Chesapeake Bowl will be played on December 30th and will put the North against the South. The North team is represented by players picked from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and the South team is comprised of players from Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia and Virginia. The location of the game has not been decided yet, but should be announced shortly and all participants will go home with their own personalized jersey and a custom bowl ring which can be seen below in a lower resolution. The game will be open to the public.
The Chesapeake Bowl kept their eyes open for talent in the Northeast Region for late additions this year and one of the last players that will be added to the North Squad was just announced in Philadelphia, Pa., native Daquan Cooper.
Future Temple Owl Daquan Cooper will be playing in the Chesapeake Bowl before New Year's.
