Here are what they had to say about the Georgia - Georgia Tech rivalry:
Georgia Tech Commitments
Jabari Hunt-Days - "I think this game is the biggest game of the year because both teams are in-state. When I arrive at Tech this is the game I will look forward to more than all other games when I step on the field. I believe this game is most definitely a big deal. Even though we(GT) lost last year to the Bulldogs, we can pull this game off like we did two years. Don't underestimate the Yellow Jackets or look past us."
Jeff Greene - "Th rivalry between GT and UGA is a pretty big deal. Knowing that both want to be the top team in the state means a lot. Me being able to play next year and be a part of that tradition will be excting. I am looking forward to making big plays at the receiver position for Tech."
Darren Waller - "Some people think of it as the dumb jocks vs. the nerds, but I know I can't wait to play in it. I know players on UGA personally and my sister goes to school there so it gets intense whenever we're together."
Georgia Commitments
David Andrews - "There's nothing like a rivalry game, especially one like this. Ever since I was little watching the game every year, I thought about how cool it would be just to beat them up and down the field."
Chris Conley - "I think that its a truly amazing rivalry that takes place not only on the field but in homes and conversations. The game is a battle that fights for pride and bragging rights for the state. I really look forward to playing in this game in the future because It will be against some high school friends who just chose GT. It excites me to know that one day I'll be in red and black taking on the Yellow Jackets for pride and for the Bulldog Nation."
Watts Dantzler - "I've always been a huge Georgia fan so of course I have had a big disliking towards Tech all my life. I think its a huge rivalry because its for who runs the state. Hopefully we can win it this year as well! Go Dawgs and Ben Jones for Heisman!"
Amarlo Herrera - "This is a big game. This game really shows who runs the state of Georgia. If you go to UGA or GT, you develop this hate for the other and thats what make it a huge rivalry. I can't wait until I play in this game next year to beat up our little brother Georgia Tech again."
Georgia Tech travels to Athens this season and the game will be played at 7:45pm Saturday on ESPN.
