Convo With Louis-Jean Sr.

When the nation's No. 2 safety prospect is already committed and starts talking about looking around, people obviously get excited. On Friday, Scout.com got on the phone with Albert Louis-Jean Sr. to talk about his son and the recruiting situation with Miami and Penn State.

Albert Louis-Jean is currently committed to Miami and the 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety has been adamant that his unofficial visit to Happy Valley was "just for fun", but now he has an official visit set up as well, making those words seem a bit suspect. Scout.com wanted to find out exactly what's going on, so we caught up with his father get just that.

"He's still 100-percent solid to Miami, but Penn State was on him very early and he has five officials to take and it's a place that Albert liked and enjoyed himself at when he was there, so we figure why not take the official if they're willing to have him, so we figure why not take the visit," Albert Louis-Jean Sr. said. "Miami is his favorite place and his dream school and we're very comfortable with that decision, however it isn't going to hurt Albert to take an extra visit."

We asked if any other official visits were in the works at this point.

"Other than his trip to Miami there aren't any at this point in time, but it's definitely not out of the question," Louis-Jean Sr. stated. "As I said, he's 100-percent with Miami, so after that visit it won't hurt him to take extra visits, so it could happen, but we have nothing planned right now. He's solid."

Obviously the report still isn't much different than what Albert Louis-Jean had to say to Scout.com earlier this month, so fans will have to continue to follow the story until signing day.
