Celina offensive lineman Josh Baggett's trip to the Hilltop on Thursday was so good, he's talking…
From New Mexico to Celina
Celina High School is known as one of the best programs in the state even though it is a small school program. Josh Baggett from Rio Rancho, New Mexico moved to Celina and Scout.com has the latest on him, like what is the biggest difference between the two areas? "So far everybody I have been watching has been bigger and quicker than New Mexico people. It is smash mouth football here in Texas", said Josh Baggett. As a big 6'5, 300 pound offensive lineman, what is his strength and what does he need to work on? "My strength is coming off the ball and hitting people, nothing like putting people down. Right now I need to work on my strength since it is off-season, get my feet quicker and be the best I can be for next season." Though he played in New Mexico he was a known quality. What schools are he looking at and hearing from? "Right now we have been looking at Nebrasksa, TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, we are getting lots of interest from there." From that group is there a favorite or one team if they offered he would commit? "Nebraska is the big favorite. I like the way they play, they like to run the ball and smash people. If they offered I would take it." Besides Nebraska, what is he looking for in a college? "Definitely looking at education and seeing how I fit in there with the coaches. I want to major in law and business right now." Stay with Scout.com for more on Jason Baggett and others in Texas.
