Will Green Stick With Pitt
Clairton (Pa.) defensive end/quarterback Desimon Green is fresh off of another WPIAL Class A Championship. Green and his Bears defeated Rochester on Saturday. "It felt great to get the win," Green said. "Three years straight is something to be proud of, but we're not done yet. We want to try and win states. The score was close, but we turned the ball over three times in the red zone." Last week, Green was selected to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fabulous 22 team. In the short Q&A that was done on each player it had a heading called college talk and listed Green as committed to Pitt, but said "we'll see what happens". So, we decided to ask Green if he was looking around and possibly taking visits. "That's not exactly what I said," Green laughed when asked about the quote. "I think what I said was taken out of context a little bit. I am committed to Pittsburgh. The only way I would look around is if there were a coaching change then I would look around just like anyone else would." Green informed us that he has been hearing from two schools a lot and those schools would be two that he would visit if anything were to happen. "I get calls all the time," Green stated. "Michigan and Texas Tech are probably the only two that I really talk to." Scout.com will have the latest if and when anything changes with the status of the four-star prospect from Clairton.
