Holding offers from Illinois, Missouri, Michigan and several others, Muskegon's Damon Knox decided he had found the right school in Michigan State.
"I'm a Spartan!" the 6'4, 266-lb Knox reported to Scout.com.
A defensive end in high school, Knox could project to the interior in college. He worked out at both positions during Michigan State's camp.
He had 102 tackles and two sacks as a junior and helped the Big Reds reach the district final as a senior.
In a recent interview with Scout.com and Superprep's Allen Wallace, Knox detailed why he liked the Spartans so much.
"That coaching staff is amazing,” he said about the Spartans. “They’re so energetic and never flat. I constantly hear from them and they really want me. They make me feel very wanted…I love that program.”
We will have more on Knox later in the day.
