Mississippi The Favorite For Stoudt?
Zack Stoudt had an impressive performance for Iowa Western last Saturday in the Top of the Mountains Bowl. Even Stoudt's Iowa Western team lost to Snow College 48-36, he threw for 440 yards and threw three touchdown passes in defeat. Stoudt, who transferred to IWCC from Louisville, is now close to making his decision on which Division-I program he will attend. He has taken visits to Wyoming, Kansas and Louisiana Tech in the past month. "Mississippi is very much in the picture," Stoudt's father, Cliff, reported. "While in Utah for the Bowl, he was visited by (Mississippi offensive coordinator) Dave Rader. Houston Nutt will be visiting Zack this week at the school, and then Coach Nutt and Coach Rader will both be making a home visit with my wife and I this week also." "Zack wants to try to visit Mississippi before Signing Day," the elder Stoudt said. "He would also like to visit UTEP and Louisiana Tech if possible. We're looking to get the logistics worked out, and we like to get this done fairly soon." Stoudt holds offers from Mississippi, Kansas, Louisiana Tech, UTEP, Wyoming, and others.
