Rakeem Cato is a standout QB prospect from Miami Central…
Florida QB talking to three
Rakeem Cato talked about his senior season. "It is going pretty well. I got 2,631 yards and 27 touchdowns with 5 interceptions." Cato, 6-1 and 180, talked about the latest with recruiting. "I'm still considering FIU, Marshall and Cincinnati," he said. "Marshall, I like their coaching staff. I think the offense will fit me as a quarterback. Cincinnati, the same thing. Their offense is like a pro style and that will fit me very well too." Cato committed to FIU early on and talked about that. "It is strong, but also my parents want me to get out there and look. They want me to keep my options open. They have been doing pretty good. They won their conference. I like the coaching staff." So what's Cato looking for in a school? "I am looking for a place that has a defense. I think I will have a great impact. I think I will come in and compete for a spot right away." The standout QB, who claims a 2.7 GPA, is recruiting one of his friends. "I am talking to Clinton Taylor from Northwestern about FIU, he is committed too. We are pretty good friends."
