"I really worked hard on my hands and it paid off big for me, because every time I needed to make a play I made it and I am really happy with my ratio for catches to drop compared to last year throughout the season."
Doctson had pulled down offers from Tulsa and Duke, but due to a hectic schedule he was not able to visit Tulsa before the school was able to fill his spot with other players who jumped on the offer a little quicker.
Now he is looking at some new options and waiting to see exactly what doors open for him down the recruiting stretch.
But one school seems to be a certainty on his final list and he plans to take a visit there next weekend.
"I am going out there to Wyoming on the 17th," Doctson informed. "I just had my in-house with them and me and my family are all set to go out there. It was crazy. I was kind of nervous when he said house visit, but it was cool."
Doctson is also receiving interest from Furman but would be really interested to play for a school on the West Coast.
"My coaches told me that sometimes players will not stick with their offers and that other players will get picked up. Maybe that will be something that happens for me. Somewhere in California is something I was hoping for."
As a senior, Doctson hauled in 38 receptions for 588 yards and five touchdowns.
