Florida OL likes USF's coaching staff
Darrell Williams talked about his senior season. "Our season didn't go to well, we ended up 1 and 8. We didn't make it to the playoffs or anything. I did pretty good. I don't think I gave up a sack all year. We had a lot of missed assignments and a lot of turnovers on offense." Williams, 6-5 and 260, talked about his USF commitment status. "I committed to South Florida in November so colleges haven't been contacting me much. I planned on committing to them earlier in the season but I talked to my coaches and they told me to hold on and take some visits or whatever. I only got one visit in because I was busy. South Florida has always been at the top of my list." Why the Bulls? "I really like the coaching staff and facilities, the impressed me and stuff. I felt comfortable there so I committed. They did pretty good. I went to one game when they played Pittsburgh that was a close game. As a team, they played well. They lost a few close ones. The new coaching staff did real good this year. They have a good recruiting class coming in. I know some of the guys that committed there and the future is bright at USF." The standout OL, who claims a 2.7 GPA and a 930 SAT score, has spoken to some other USF commitments. "I talk to Max Lang and Thor Jozwiak who committed there. Thor came up to me and talked me after a game. I am going in January to the end of the season banquet. The coaches are coming tomorrow for an in home visit."
