Quarterbacks
Greyson Lambert out of Wayne County leads the way for the East at quarterback, but this trio can really distribute the ball all over the football field. Scott Hosch of North Gwinnett and Jonquel Dawson round out the threesome at this position and like Lambert, throwing the football is their biggest strength. Lambert is the only junior at this position with offers. Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia have offered him.
Running Backs
Mike Davis, Tre Sorrells, and Shadrach Thornton are the backs the offensive linemen on the East squad will be blocking for. There is a good mixture here in these three. Sorrells is the smallest of the group at 5-feet 8-inches tall and about 160 pounds while Thornton is a big back at over 6-feet 1-inches tall and pushing 215 pounds. Davis is in between those two at 5-feet 10-inches tall and 195 pounds. All are being recruited by multiple Division I schools at this time and each will bring their own element to the game out of the backfield.
Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Kurt Freitag is the only tight end in this group and George Morris is more of a running back that can also make plays at wide receiver. Freitag has already been offered and the 6-foot-4, 230 pound star out of Buford has won two straight state titles. Morris just emerged on the scene this season out of Central Carrollton and he had close to 1,400 yards of total offense.
Blake Tibbs out of M.L.K., Malachai Jones out of Wesleyan, Charlie Hegedus of Lassiter, and Deonte Scott out of Metter are all true wideouts. Tibbs is the only one with an offer right now and he has one from Arkansas.
Offensive Line
The East has a strong unit up front on the offensive line. There are a lot of big bodies in this group. Jafar Mann is out of Stephenson, Chase Roberts is out of Greater Atlanta Christian, Joe Harris is out of Lithonia, Zach Stanfield is out of Eagles Landing, Thomas Jackson is out of Southwest Dekalb, Micah Anderson is out of Stone Mountain, Brandon Greene is out of Cedar Grove, and Steve McKenzie is out of Stephenson.
Mann claims a number of offers from schools like Auburn, Florida State, Miami, and Tennessee among others. Harris has offers from Clemson, Minnesota, and South Carolina while Greene has been offered by UCF and Ole Miss.
