Hall Holding Two Offers

Picayune running back Jamal Hall recently picked up several post season honors including 1st Team All-State recognition. As one of the top ground gainers in his home state the past few years, Jamal has proven he can keep the team moving. With the crucial stretch to signing day about to begin, Hall is eager to learn more about his college options.

Jamal Hall profile "It is a good feeling," said Jamal of being named All-State. "I feel like I get awards because of my offensive line, so I have to give them a lot of the credit.

"It's a great honor to be recognized as one of the state's top players."

A handful of college programs have made the transition from casual observers to interested parties.

"Arkansas State, Louisiana Lafayette, Jackson State and Southern Miss are all recruiting me," said Jamal. "I am going to Jackson State and Arkansas State in January on an official visit.

"I talked with Coach Harris from Arkansas State today and they want me to come in around the 15th of January.

"Jackson State told me to call them once we got back in school to set the date for my visit up there."

Both schools have taken the big step of offering the talented running back a scholarship.

"Jackson State and Arkansas State have both offered me," said Hall. "I feel like Southern Miss might be next.

"They are supposed to be evaluating my highlight tape."

Jamal plans to take his official trips before making a final decision about his college future.
