Record Setting Wide Receiver

Posted Apr 6, 2003

Missouri's Tom Mulvihill will leave St. John Vianney as the schools leading receiver. Several schools have shown interest in this fine wide receiver.

Tom Mulvihill, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound, wide receiver from Kirkwood (Mo.) St. John Vianney will be a prospect to watch in 2003.

Mulvihill was named 1st team all-metro and 2nd team all-state as a junior. He set a school record with 262 receiving yards in a single game last season.

“No scholarship offers yet,” Mulvihill said. “I’m getting a lot of mail. Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and Indiana are sending the most hand-written letters.

“My early leaders are Notre Dame, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and UCLA.”

Mulvihill had 640 receiving yards as a sophomore and 870 as a junior. This year he should set a school record for career receiving yards.

Notre Dame, Indiana and Missouri are the schools that Mulvihill will camp at this summer.
