Tailback Names Early Favorites

This Heartland prospect rushed for 1,300 yards as a junior and was named 2nd team all-state.
Brandon Holland
, a 6-foot-1, 202-pound, running back from Kirkwood (Mo.) Vianney will be a prospect to keep an eye on in 2003.
2003 will be Holland’s third year as a starting tailback. He rushed for 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior and was named 2nd team all-state.
“No offers yet,” Holland said. “I get hand-written letters from
Notre Dame
and
Oklahoma
just about every day.
Iowa
and
Wisconsin
also send personal mail.
“I really like
Miami
(Fla.) a lot. I also like Oklahoma, Notre Dame,
Illinois
, Iowa,
Colorado
, Wisconsin and
Northwestern
.
“I don’t have a leader right now. Its too early in the recruiting process for naming leaders. I’m listening to everyone that’s interested in me.
“I’m going to Northwestern for their spring game and I’m going to camp at Notre Dame this summer.”
Holland also letters in basketball.
