Bobby McCain talks three visits
"I will take my official visit to Memphis at the end of this week," said Bobby McCain. "I am then taking an official visit to Tennessee next weekend and then Mississippi State after that. These are my only visits because I have been busy with baseball. "Right now I would say Memphis and Mississippi State are recruiting me the hardest. Memphis has actually offered me to play both football and baseball. Several coaches have come by the school like Memphis, Tennessee, Auburn and Vanderbilt. Nick Saban came by, but not for me." The three official visits are the finalists for McCain's signature. Memphis: "I like the opportunity to play both sports. It's a homey atmosphere. I like the coaches. They are honest with you. They are real people." Tennessee: "I like Tennessee. When I went up there I thought the campus was gorgeous. I plan on going up there with Allan Carson." Mississippi State: "I went to a couple of games there. The atmosphere is crazy. They are an up-and-coming program." McCain had 35 tackles in 2010 and one interception. He added 28 rushes for 212 yards with six touchdowns and 25 receptions for 378 yards with three touchdowns. McCain was also 10-of-21 for 221 yards passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions. McCain is a very versatile athlete and excels on both sides of the ball. "Most schools have told me defensive back," McCain said about a recruited position. "If I go to school and defensive back doesn't work out I could play receiver."
