Ronnie Bell is a quarterback out of Tyrone (GA) Sandy Creek and he has decided on his college choice and it is Ohio.
"When I was up at Ohio, I felt comfortable with the players and the coaches. I knew then that Ohio could be my second home," said Ronnie Bell.
Bell became the starting quarterback for Chip Walker and the Patriots in 2009 and he has gone 29-1 over the last two years and helped Sandy Creek win back to back state championships. He threw for over 2,500 yards this season.
Simmons' Take: Ohio got a steal in Bell. I could not believe more schools did not pursue Bell. He is a tad under 6-feet tall, but he has a very live arm, he delivers a good ball, he has great pocket awareness, he has good mobility, and he is a winner. There are plenty of quarterbacks that do not meet the measurements many look for that go on to have successful college careers and I expect Bell to put up big numbers on the next level.
