"I know that if I go to Oregon State I am going to have a good coaching staff," said Parker. "They teach respect and just have a great bunch of guys put together."
Parker also came away with Corvallis, a city much different than his hometown of Honolulu.
"Corvallis was great," said Parker. "The campus is really scrunched together so you can get anywhere in five minutes, it's nice. I talked to a couple people in town and they really believe in the team, it seems like they have a lot of support."
Parker admitted he didn't consider committing over the weekend, but has decided on his final four schools.
Parker will visit Colorado next weekend and should have all the information he needs to make a decision at that point. He took an official visit to Hawaii in December and unofficially visited Baylor last year as well.
Parker doesn't have a timeline and will make his decision sometime between his visit to Colorado and signing day, stayed tuned to Scout.com for updates.
