Twinsburg (OH) defensive back Aaron Macer has verbally committed to play college football for Ohio University, selecting the Bobcats over several other MAC programs. Scout.com has the story on the Macer decision.

Twinsburg (OH) defensive back Aaron Macer told Scout.com Tuesday evening he has verbally committed to Ohio University. Macer also had offers from Akron, Toledo, Kent State and Miami of Ohio.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound, Macer has the ability to play either cornerback or safety at the next level, and hit the recruiting radar this winter, performing for Raw Talent Sports.

"I have committed to Ohio University," Macer stated Tuesday. "I plan on majoring in Business, Finance and Communications. Ohio University offered me the best combination of academics and athletics, and I am very excited about joining their football program."
