Xzavier Ward profile "The visit went good," said Xzavier. "Archie Muniz was my host. He's a great guy. He showed me a good time." Ward reports that he got a got vibe about the University during his guided tour and subsequent meetings. "We toured the campus and talked about academics," said Xavier. "The facilities are great and I like the atmosphere there. They are very family oriented." Getting a chance to converse with the current Bulldog players allowed Ward the chance to learn what to expect if he elects to join them in Maroon and White. "All of the players there told me to come in ready to work and I like that," said Xzavier. "They want to win championships there. They are really like a family and they are ready excited about next season." Over the course of the weekend Xzavier talked with the Bulldog staff about what their plans are for him for the future. "The coaches were all good," said Ward. "They talked to me about how it's a family there. They said I could come in and redshirt and learn the system. "I feel like they really want me there." Before heading for home, Xzavier was able to spend some time with the Top Dawg, head coach Dan Mullen. "Coach Mullen met with me today. He's a great guy," said Ward. "He answered all of my questions and he acts like they want me to come there. He said I would fit in there and that I was what they were looking for in a player." The three star standout reports that the Bulldogs made a strong case for him to join them. He will announce his college decision in just over a week. "Mississippi State is definitely one of my top schools," said Ward. "I am going to visit Auburn this weekend and then I will probably make my decision after that."
