Both Al Golden and Mark Richt stopped by East Paulding to check on Taylor Gadbois and the Hurricane…
UGA offers, will Gadbois look?
"Coach [Mark] Richt called me this morning and offered me a scholarship," said Taylor Gadbois. "He told me that had some scholarships come open and that I was on the top of their board." Georgia has had their eye on Gadbois for some time, but just could not pull the trigger during the season. Just over one week before Signing Day, the Dawgs saw room and made him a priority. "Georgia has been recruiting me and I know right now that they want me badly. I am not sure yet if I am going to look at them. It is a lot to think about." The 6-foot-7, 285 pound offensive tackle out of Dallas (GA) East Paulding committed to Miami a couple of weeks ago and that is the school he has dreamed of playing for. But, Georgia is a school he visited during the season and had strong interest in as well. The location could play into his final decision, but he is not ready to comment much on that at this time. Mark Richt and Mike Bobo will be at East Paulding and then Gadbois' house on Monday. Stay tuned to Scout for the latest on Gadbois and his recruitment. He has already taken an official visit to Miami, but has not taken one to Georgia. Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager. Chad's Blog | Facebook | Twitter
