Canes land new commitment
Rashawn Scott is now a Miami Hurricane. "I just committed to Miami," Scott said. "I'll be signing with them next week. It just felt right. They came at me and offered me a scholarship last week and I'll be going down for a visit this week." Scott, 6-2 and 200, was a star two-way player at Melbourne Central Catholic High over the last few seasons. He had over a dozen scholarship offers including schools like Michigan State, West Virginia, and USF. He's excited about becoming a Cane. "I think it's great. The new offensive coordinator is pretty good. You can't go wrong with being at Miami. I've never been there but I'm going down this week." Scott hasn't been to Miami yet but met with the UM coaches today and finished it. "They came today. Coach McDonald came. I like him a lot, he's very impressive." Scott becomes Miami's second wide receiver commitment, joining Phillip Dorsett.
