Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde tight end Junior Pomee had decided to stay in California for college, choosing UCLA during the summer.
But before the commitment had really settled, Pomee opened things up, and by waiting, landed an offer from USC.
That offer from the Trojans paid off on Signing Day, when the four-star tight committed to USC.
"I'm a Trojan," said Pomee.
Pomee is the second Mustang player in four years to sign with USC, following Tyron Smith, who signed with USC in 2008.
The four-star was named to the NUC All-World Classic in 2010.
