Palisades (Calif.) running back Malcolm Creer only had an
offer from Colorado as of 11:14pm PST last night. By 11:15pm, he had his received
his second offer, in a late night call from the Washington Huskies. Creer was
planning on committing to Colorado, did the offer change his decision?
“I talked it over with my mom and I am going to stay
committed to Colorado,” said Creer.
Creer is a great athlete that will come in and play running
back for the Buffs, he talked about what drew him to Colorado.
“Just the vibe and new staff," said Creer. "There was just a warm feeling of
being welcome there. The academics were a huge part of it as well."
It has been a wild ride for Creer, who didn't have an offer
a month ago. Since then, the senior has had a whirlwind of interest ending in an
eleventh hour offer.
"It’s just been a good experience," said Creer. "It is just
real fun to see what you can do and be honored by the schools and people… It's
been one good ride."
