Last week, we saw the cream of the crop in terms of the next class of football recruits in Southern California. This week, the NIKE Football Camp tour hits the Sunshine State with a camp in Miami on Sat. at the Univ. of Miami and one on Sunday in Gainesville at the Univ. of Florida football stadium. Check out the StudentSports.com premium message board for updates, evaluations and top marks after the camps over the next two days.

Here are just a few of the standouts who've confirmed for one of the two camps in Florida this weekend:

MIAMI CAMP
Bobby Washington (Killian, Miami FL) RB
Last year he weighed in at 6-0 1/2, 193 pounds, ran a 4.68 in the 40 and a very quick 4.12 in the shuttle. He's already been offered by Ohio State.

Lawrence Timmons (Wilson, Florence SC) LB/WR
Timmons can long jump over 21 feet and had 46 catches for 690 yards with 14 TDs on offense and 95 tackles on defense. His offers include South Carolina and Kentucky.

Brent Schaeffer (Deerfield Beach FL) QB
Already with offers from Kansas State, Iowa and Colorado State, Schaeffer will come later after taking the SAT. A good athlete, he ran a 4.6 last year.

Willie Williams (Monsignor Edward, Opa Locka FL) LB
A Class 2A All-State pick with unbelievable numbers (170 tackles, 10 sacks, 3 INTs), he has offers from the Big 3 instate (Miami, Florida and FSU) along with Auburn.

Mike Mangold (Leonard, Lake Worth FL) DE/LB
Mangold was a 3rd team all-state pick at the largest level (6A) last year. He's already committed to Pitt.

GAINESVILLE CAMP
Xavier Lee (Seabreeze, Daytona Beach FL) QB
A possible Elite 11 QB, he has offers from everybody including FSU, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, NC State, Tennessee, Florida, USC, Syracuse, North Carolina and many moore. Last year at the Miami camp he was 6-3, 203 pounds.

Lamar Lewis (Trinity Chrisitan Acad., Jacksonville FL) DB/RB
Lewis opened everone's eyes at last year's Miami camp when he blazed to a 4.35 in the 40. He's small at 5-8, 177 (last year's marks), but Georgia Tech (offer) for one is already all over him. He was a 1A all-stater.

Tony Carter (Mandarin, Jacksonville FL) DB
Another Jaxsonville standout, he had 9 INTs last year and reportedly has a 4.3 in the 40 and a 40" vertical. We'll see on Sunday, but you can't argue with his offers: Mississippi State, Maryland, Florida State, Florida and Miami.

Johnnie Burns (Fletcher, Neptune Beach FL) LB/TE
The brother of Ga Tech rusher Joe Burns, Johnnie is listed at 6-3, 210 and has a 3.1 GPA, one reason Tech, Iowa and LSU have already offered.

Eric Williams (Metter GA) DB Many Georgia prospects are heading to the Auburn NIKE Camp this year, but Williams will go to Gainesville. Last year, at the camp in Georgia, he listed at 6-2, 194 pounds, ran a 4.60 and had a 32" vertical. Tech and Maryland have offered.
