As we move into 2012 recruiting, Scout takes a thorough look at Michigan, going through each of the top prospects and offering some early takes.

2012 recruiting has already begun, but each year new names pop up late and kids establish themselves at camps, combines and during the fall. This is in no way a final list and the rankings are obviously very early, and based on junior seasons, camps and the film work we have been able to do. We have combed lots of tape, but there is more work to be done. Still, here is a snapshot look at the best in Michigan.
