GREENSBORO, N.C. --- With regards to his recruitment, D.J. Reader has a lot of decisions that need…

"I've been most heavily recruited as an offensive guard," the 2012 athlete explained. "The most important thing to me is going where I feel I'll be in the best position to play. Any D1 school will have good academics, so I'm looking where I can fit in, at the program they're running, and offensive style."
Reader continued about how he'll narrow his choices.
"I want to find the place where I can learn as much as possible, and I dream of going to the NFL. I want a college where I know the coach knows what he's talking about and has produced linemen in the NFL."
The Greensboro, NC native, from Grimsley High School, received his first offer in his sophomore year from NC State, followed by more in-state offers from UNC, Wake Forest, as well as Maryland and Clemson.
Reader also attended Junior Day at Duke, and is going to Clemson March 5 but, "isn't sure about any other trips." He shared a little more about his weekend at Duke.
"Coach Collins is my recruitment coordinator, so we always talk a lot," he explained. "The trip was a lot of fun, and I got to meet with the coaching staff. The weight room is really nice, and they explained a lot about that and what to do as far as weight and size."
With another season for on-field improvement, Reader shared what he expects in his senior year.
"I'm trying to have a really strong finish," he said. "I'm going to take it a game at a time, and see how our team improves.
"I hope to improve in holding my blocks. That's one of my personal goals as a player to improve on, and generally helping my team."
While he's projected to become a top prospect in the 2012 class, Reader shared where his football career first began.
"My oldest and probably worst memory with football was when I was seven years old," he said. "I had to run laps every day in practice because I couldn't make weight, and just got to play in the last two games."
