Nitts Offer Denman

Fairless Hills, Pa., product J.J. Denman just picked up his ninth scholarship offer from the Penn State Nittany Lions and is excited about it. He is also waiting to hear back from some other programs that have been in contact with him.

J.J. Denman, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle from Pennsbury High School has now been offered by Penn State University and let Scout.com know about the news on Monday.

“I talked to Coach (Mike) McQueary from Penn State today and he told me I have an offer from them,” Denman said. “I’ve actually had an offer from them for a week, but I was a little confused with our last conversation and just didn’t know they offered me last time we talked.”

“I knew it was going to happen, but it definitely feels good that it finally happened and I’m going to go up and visit them in March,” Denman added. “I’m definitely excited about it. I like their stadium and I think they have a lot of potential to be a Top 20 team over the next few years.”

“Florida has been sending me a lot of stuff and Tennessee has as well, so I’m hoping they offer soon and I’m also waiting on some other Big Ten schools that have been showing a lot of interest, so we’ll see what happens going forward.”

Denman currently has nine scholarship offers.
