The Best of the Midwest football combine will have not only top talents from the Indianapolis area, but the entire Midwest.
Players attending who already have Division-1 offers include Warren Central's contingent of Sheldon Day, Josh Posley, Jonathan Burt, Kevin Davis, Jordan Shine, and Jordan Wallace, along with South Bend Washington's duo of David Perkins and Gehrig Dieter. Madeira High (Ohio) OL Kyle Williamson also has an FBS offer.
One of the top sophomores (2013) in the Midwest will be there in Joliet Catholic Academy's Ty Isaac. Speaking of top sophomores, Warren Central LB Tim Kimbrough may be one of the top prospects in the region for that class.
The quarterback group will be strengthened by out of state prospects like Aurora Christian's Anthony Maddie, East St. Louis' Lamontiez Ivy and Lexington Catholic's Kyle Bolin.
There are also some likely attendees we are excited to see. Indianapolis Pike DB Jonathan Reed has an offer and is a good all around athlete. Pickerington Central sophomore DE Taco Charlton is going to be a multiple BCS offer prospect, and Bishop Chatard OL Sid Anvoots is a rising senior who we expect to get a few offers before it's all said and done. Greentown Eastern DE Josiah Price impressed us on film and is a good athlete in a 6-4, 235-lb frame.
Avon's 6-6, 320-lb OT DeAndre Herron and speedy running back Charles Davis are also expected to attend. Other than Ivy, East St. Louis will also have WR Denis Harris and RB Jeremy Nicholson there. Cleveland Glenville will have a few players, including CB/RB V'Angelo Bentley.
Other intriguing prospects include Indianapolis Tech's big lineman James Hawkins, Cathedral OL Jacob Bailey and his quarterback Corey Babb, and Warren Central's Deyshawn Bond, a guard who is closing in on his first offer.
